Have you ever taken the time to set some goals for life? If not, now is the time to start doing so as having some great goals in place is what will help to keep you motivated and striving onwards so that you can see the results that you’re hoping for in all areas of your life.

Far too many people just go about their lives on a day to day basis without any goals in place and this is only going to cause them to coast through life.

Instead, you want to go forward and accomplish goals that you set your mind out to achieve, which will then give you a great confidence boost moving into the future that you can carry on seeing the results you desire.

Let’s go over some smart things that you should know about proper goal setting theory to get you started.

Use SMART Goal Setting Techniques for Goals for Life.

The very first thing that you absolutely must be doing is making sure that you use the SMART goal setting procedure to set your goals.

This produce is defined as making sure those goals you set are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and that they have a timeline in place for when you hope to accomplish them by.

If you are not using the SMART goal setting technique, you may set goals that won’t necessarily help you move along in progress as you had hoped, and thus won’t benefit from having them in place.

Most important is that your goal is specific so that you know precisely how close you are coming to reaching it and that they are attainable.

If the goal you set isn’t something that you could feasible do, you aren’t going to be motivated to go after it.

Set high goals, but be realistic with what you can actually accomplish at the same time.

Set Both Short Term And Long Term Goals.

Next, as you go about setting great goals, also consider setting goals for both the short term as well as the long term.

This is also important as many people will only set long term goals and then lose steam after a few weeks are up.

Set some smaller goals, which will act as stepping stones along the way to your longer term goals.

These will help to give you something to focus on in the very near future, making it that much more likely that you continue to push onward.

So there you have some key points to remember about goal setting theory and creating great goals for yourself.

Next up we’ll talk more about goals for life, so stay tuned till Thursday.

In the first installment of the Brazilian Butt Lift series on how to build the best butt lifter workout, we gave you the go-to exercises that will get the job done.

The good news is that all of these you can do right in the comfort of your own home, so there’s no reason to go to the gym if you don’t want to.

Today, we’ll go over how to design the workout for maximum results.

Exercise Order

The first item to discuss is the exercise order in your Brazilian Butt Lift workout. You want to always start with the heaviest weight lifting movement first, which in this case would be the squat.

Once the squat is finished, then you should go on and perform the lunge, split squat, or deadlift. Ideally you want to be doing at least two exercises per session, if not three.

Don’t go much beyond that though or you could risk overtraining.

Reps And Sets

In terms of reps and sets, this will all relate to how much weight you’re lifting during the Brazilian Butt Lift workout.

You will want to have a combination of heavy, lower rep sets to really build up some muscle and give you that curvy appearance you’re after, but then in addition to that, you’ll also want to do some lighter weight sets where you take the rep range higher and get a great calorie burn taking place.

If you can do both in one session, you’ll be seeing optimal progress.

Rest Periods in Brazilian Butt Lift Workout

Finally, for the rest periods, keep these as short as possible while still maintaining good form. In doing so, you will help to boost the metabolic response you get from the workout session and burn fat far faster than ever before.

30-60 seconds is deal, however if you need slightly longer on your heavy weight lifting, feel free to do so. You should never let proper form be sacrificed due to too short of rest periods, so always keep that in mind.

So there you have the top tricks you need to know to put together the best butt workout possible. Do this butt lifter protocol twice to three times per week and you will be on track to seeing dramatic improvements in your backside.

We fell in love with this delicious, creamy garlic dressing recipe when we did the Beachbody Ultimate Reset the first time. Now it is our go to dressing, because it taste delicious, and it is really 100% natural and vegan too. No ingredients you cannot pronounce, and it is good for you.

Ingredients for Creamy Garlic Dressing:

½ cup extra-virgin olive oil

¼ cup apple cider vinegar

3 gloves of garlic, crushed

3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

1 tsp. Himalayan salt

½ tsp. Dijon mustard

1 Tsp. raw honey (or pure maple syrup)

Method:

Place oil, vinegar, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, mustard, and honey in a blender or food processor; cover with lid. Blend until smooth. (When I am in a hurry I just use my stick blender and it does a great job.) Refrigerate dressing if not using immediately. If dressing solidifies when cold, hold at room temperature for 30 minutes, before serving. Stir before serving. Enjoy.

Makes 10 servings, about 2 Tbsp. each. I usually double the recipe, and store it in a airtight container in the refrigerator.

Looking to firm and tone your back side? If so, you need to put together the ultimate butt lifter workout that will allow you to see the precise results that you’re looking for.

Unfortunately, many people who go about trying to design a so-called ‘Brazillian Butt lift’ workout program don’t do so in the proper manner and as a result, they don’t see the results that they were hoping for.

Fortunately, all of that can change if you have the right approach.

Let’s go over some of the key exercises to have in place for your own butt lifter workout and then how to structure the workout itself.

The Full Squat in the Butt Lifter Workout

The first exercise to do in your Brazil butt lift workout is the full squat. The biggest mistake that many people make when doing squats in their workout program is not going the full way down in the movement pattern.

If you want to see the optimal toning and firming taking place, you must go all the way to the ground, pause, and then reverse.

Trust me, do it like this and you will feel those glutes working.

The Lunge

Next, also be sure that you are performing lunges. Lunges are great for working not only the butt, but the hamstrings and quads as well and they’ll even help to work the core muscles in addition to this.

The lunge can be performed in a standing position staying in one spot or walking across the room – whichever you prefer.

Just be sure that you are challenging yourself with a heavy enough weight while doing it so that you can see maximum results.

The Split Squat

The split squat is the next movement that you’ll want to get into your workout program. To do this one, place one leg up on a bench behind you and then holding a set of dumbbells, one in each hand, lower down to the ground with the supporting leg.

In order to make this most effective for your butt lifter workout, think of leaning back ever so slightly, which will ensure the focus is on the glute region.

The Deadlift

Finally, you simply cannot go wrong with the deadlift if you want to build the best butt workout possible. To up the ante on this one, also consider a single leg deadlift, which will put more focus on core contractions and core development as well.

So there you have the top moves to get into place with your butt lifter workout. Next, we’ll go over how to structure the workout for optimal progress.

Here is part 2 of Eat Clean Recipes: Secrets.

In the last installment of Eat Clean Recipes: Secrets, to help you cut calories and lose weight faster we went over the techniques of using applesauce rather than oil, using pureed vegetables rather than butter, using chicken broth for moisture in recipes, as well as adding more vegetables.

Now let’s give you a few more ideas to try out so you can eat clean recipes all the time.

Try Cottage Cheese Or Greek Yogurt In Dips

The first cooking secret to try out is to exchange cottage cheese or Greek yogurt for the high fat sour cream or mayonnaise found in most dip recipes.

Dips are a great way to get more raw vegetables in, but only if they are prepared in a healthy manner.

By making this swap, you can improve the nutritional value of the quick snack you’re serving.

Replace Ground Beef With Ground Chicken

The next smart idea to help you eat clean recipes is to use ground chicken or turkey instead of ground beef.

Most people give up their favorite burger or meatball recipe when they go on a fat loss diet, but this will clearly cause them to suffer from food cravings if these just happened to be two of their favorite foods.

To get past this, ground chicken works perfectly. And while you’re at it, replace the bread crumbs the recipe calls for with oatmeal instead as well.

This will add a healthier variety of carbohydrate that will provide energy for a lengthier period of time.

Opt For Salsa Rather Than Sauces

Finally, the last swap to make is to switch out the sauces in your recipes for salsa instead.

Salsa is a great condiment to use since it’s high in fiber, rich in antioxidants, and doesn’t contain the sugar content that most other sauces do.

This works great on chicken, baked potatoes, with rice, or any other dish you’re preparing.

So there you have some of the top cooking secrets to remember so that you can reach your weight loss goals more easily.

Make sure that you are giving these a try.

Cooking Secrets: Eat Clean Recipes To Cut Calories: Part 1

Have you cut calories and are still not losing weight? This is a common problem for some people and often the primary reason is that they are not using some important cooking secrets that could get them faster and better results.

You need to eat clean recipes throughout the day if you are going to see results because clean foods will work better with your body to put you into fat burning mode, getting you the results that you’re after.

So what are the cooking secrets you need to know?

Let’s go over some simple yet highly effective ways to slash calories and see faster progress.

Use Chicken Broth Rather Than Oil

The very first way you can quickly cut calories in your recipes is to swap out the use of oil for some reduced sodium chicken broth instead.

While some healthy fats are a must in your diet plan, the calories in fats do add up quickly so if you aren’t careful, it’s easy to take in too much.

Chicken broth is virtually calorie free and even better, will add a slight hint of flavor to your recipes as well.

Try Applesauce, Not Butter

Next, you also want to start considering using applesauce more often in your cooking recipes than butter. Butter is very high in saturated fats so generally something you want to avoid.

Applesauce will still add moisture, so will help to keep the overall integrity of the recipe intact.

Just be sure to purchase the unsweetened variety.

Use Pureed Vegetables Rather Than Shortening

Moving along, the next must-do as you go about creating clean recipes is to swap out shortening in baked goods for pureed vegetables instead.

Both carrots as well as zucchini tend to work well in this instance, so either of those will fit the bill perfectly.

Get creative and see what you can think of. Some recipes will call for this right in the recipe, and if not, you can add the replacement in yourself.

Add More Vegetables, Less Starch

Finally, the last of the cooking secrets to consider to help you cut calories and lose weight faster is to add more vegetables and less starch.

When a recipe calls for two cups of rice for example and just one cup of vegetables, swap these so that it’s two cups of vegetables and one cup of brown rice.

This will shift the calorie content downward and help you get in better nutrition as well.

So there you have some fast and easy cooking secrets to remember to get you started. Next up we’ll go over a few more, so look for part 2 of this article tomorrow.

We use this recipe all the time when we feel like a breakfast treat on a lazy Sunday morning. These protein pancakes are firm but delicious!

Protein Pancakes Recipe.

Ingredients:

Dry ingredients for protein pancakes:

1 cup oat flour

½ cup coconut flour

½ cup vanilla whey protein powder

10 ml baking powder

1 ml salt

5 ml Truvia (to taste)

Wet ingredients for protein pancakes:

8 eggs

1 cup coconut milk

5ml vanilla essence

Variation:

For a variation on this Protein Pancakes Recipe you can use banana whey protein powder, 2 ml cinnamon, 1 ml nutmeg, and ½ ml All spice. Just omit the vanilla whey protein powder and the vanilla essence.

Method for making Protein Pancakes:

Combine dry ingredients.

In second bowl whisk eggs, milk and vanilla together, then mix dry and wet ingredients together. Don’t over mix. I find that 1 cup of coconut milk is sufficient for this recipe, but you might have to add a little more coconut milk if the consistency of your batter is to thick. This batter is thicker than normal pancake batters, because of the oat and coconut flour.

Oil or grease a pan and heat over medium heat. (I used coconut oil.)

Ladle enough batter to form a pancake. Cook until edges start to dry and firm, flip and cook through.

Serve with coconut ghee, real maple syrup, honey or fruit of your choice.

Part 2: Banish Fat with These Cellulite Treatments:

Ready to learn more secrets on how to banish fat and see faster results with your cellulite treatment program?

Let’s look at two more techniques that you should be using for cellulite treatment.

Start Strength Training

First, start strength training. By forming more muscle under the skin where the cellulite is occurring, you’ll make that skin press up against the muscle more, reducing the lattice structure that forms the cellulite tissue.

Strength training is also an excellent way to boost your metabolic rate as well, so that in itself can help banish fat faster and therefor be considered a cellulite treatment.

Do a good strength training program using a full body approach with plenty of compound movements at least two times per week, if not three times if you can.

Add Interval Cardio

In addition to your strength training, interval cardio training will also be helpful for assisting you to banish fat and reduce the appearance of cellulite. For this cardio, alternate between 30 seconds of fast paced exercise with 60 seconds of lower intensity exercise, done six to ten times total.

Perform this after your weight training workouts if possible to really accelerate the speed of overall fat burning taking place. If you can do intervals two to three times per week as well, you will be making very rapid progress towards getting a leaner and firmer body.

Take Good Care Of Your Skin

Finally, make sure you take good care of your skin as well. While cellulite is primarily a body fat issue since there is just too much body fat under the skin and that is what is causing it to form the dimple-like appearance, you also must make sure that your skin is in good health as well.

This is done by properly moisturizing it and even considering a skin rejuvenation cream. Just be careful with cellulite banishing creams because often these are only going to temporarily tighten the skin and won’t really produce the results that you’re going for.

Another way to minimize to look of cellulite you may want to consider tanning your skin, as tanned skin does tend to show fewer signs of cellulite than whiter-colored skin. Remember the sun can be harmful if you overdo sunbathing.

So there you have the top tips to banish fat and help you learn how to remove cellulite. Be patient with the process and if you work hard, you can say so-long to this unsightly tissue.
